Pushing Through Doubt
When I started this blog, almost 7 years ago, I had one purpose in mind. I wanted a place to share about my semester abroad to my friends and family. And through the weeks and months that I was in India, this blog became a bit more than just updates, but was a deeper place where I could process my thoughts and reflect on my journey.
And now, this blog and website as a whole has continued to grow into something…

How We Avoid Baby-Proofing Our House
It’s a known fact that once your kiddo starts becoming more and more mobile, you realize just how many subtle death traps you have lying around your house. In hindsight, it was…

Flourish.
At the beginning of this year, I asked God to give me a word for our upcoming year as a family. Just one word to meditate on, pray about and lean into. For the past two years, I believe the word that God gave us was “faithful”. Time and time again, I needed to lean into that word, when working through finding a job, filling out immigration paperwork, waiting for a green card, purchasing a house, having a baby...and all of the moments in between. Over and over, God asked me to believe in His faithfulness and each time we found victory, I was reminded that our God is a God who can be trusted.
